This is a polished fossilferous limestone egg. It is a sedimentary rock packed with cross-sections of ancient marine life, a pattern often referred to as "Fossil Soup". The swirling white and cream patterns are the fossilized remains of prehistoric marine specimens. Carved and polished in Pakistan.
