Argus Machine has a need for a self-motivated individual looking for an entry level position in the precision machine deburr department.
Job Requirements:
- Hand deburr precision machined parts or operate vibratory deburr equipment as specified to remove sharp edges and assure cosmetic finishes.
- Use hand tools including knife, file, tweezers, deburr tools to remove sharp edges of manufactured parts
- Follow job traveler instructions, use prints and visual aids to validate information
- Inspect manufactured parts to assure they are free of burrs
- Use sanding pads/paper to cosmetically improve required surfaces
- Use sandblaster as required to remove tooling marks
- Wash all parts to be free of oils and dust
- This job requires high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sweeping and Mopping as required
- Wash rags/towels
- Forklift certification a plus
- Sweep work area and keep clean
- Document legible and accurate deburr times on timecards & travelers
- Other duties as assigned
- References must be available and will be checked.
- Additional compensation for deburr experience.
