GRIT TRUCKING LLC is seeking a Full Time Truck Driver to haul Amazon trailers from Amazon Warehouse to Amazon Warehouse.
95% Drop and Hook, Zero Touch Freight
Regional Driving, Local Driving, And 5 Day Roundtrips
Regional: You would start in Tucson, Az and drive to either Southern California, Las Vegas, New Mexico or El Paso, Tx. Spend the night and drive back to Tucson, Az.
You would be home every other day for a 10-12 hr reset and have a 34 hr reset every week.
These are 1-3 round trips per week.
Every roundtrip will have a few stops to different Amazon Warehouses
Local Driving: You would start in Tucson, Az and have several stops around the Tucson and Phoenix area and then finish back in Tucson, Az. Night time driving most likely for local runs and it is 5 days a week.
5 Day Roundtrips: You would start in Tucson, Az and run to either Denver, Texas, Oklahoma and come straight back to Tucson, Az. These usually start on Monday or Tuesday and finish on Friday or Saturday.
Very easy work
**Duties:**
- Must be On Time to Pick Ups and Deliveries (no exceptions)
- Must be able to work Overnights and Nights (no exceptions)
- Must have a good working Smart Phone to download Amazon Relay App
- Safely operate trucks to transport Amazon trailers to various locations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
- Must pass background check (Felons are welcome)
**Skills:**
- 2 YEAR MINIMUM VERIFIABLE TRACTOR TRAILER EXPERIENCE
- Must pass DOT Regulated Urine Drug Screen
- Knowledge of Relay App preferred
- Commercial driving license Class A(CDL)
- Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations and regional lanes
**Compensation**
- These are 1099 positions
- Pay would be on a Roundtrip completion
- $600 per round trip for Regional Drivers
