Local frame builder Andy Gilmour custom road bike in phenomenal condition. 56cm (c-to-c) seat tube/top tube fits 5’9 - 6’0 best. Reynolds 653 steel tubing in a stunning plum hue. Full Campagnolo Chorus carbon 2x10 groupset. Chorus hubs laced to DT Swiss rims.
I got this from the original owner’s estate hardly ridden but in dire need of a facelift. Cables, housing, bar tape are all fresh and fully tuned. Chain is wax treated with Silca tungsten carbide. Color-matched the paint and touched up small chips. The original saddle got gross from storage, so I’m including a takeoff Specialized brand saddle. The tires show age just from sitting but since they show plenty of tread left I’ve kept them on.
Extras included:
- Color-matched Silca Impero frame pump with rare campagnolo pump head
- Color-matched acrylic touch up paint
- Original owner’s vintage Look brand clipless pedals (not so useful in my opinion, but they go for $30 or so on eBay)
I’ve sunk a bit under $1k into the bike that I’d like to recoup. Purchase at $1800 and I’ll donate $1000 to BICAS and send you the receipt. Offers below $1800 welcome, but will result in a lesser donation to BICAS.
