The most fun through twists and turns. 2006 was the last model year they used a supercharger instead of a turbo with the inline-4 cylinder engine on the S model Mini Cooper. Much more fun than the turbo lag on subsequent model years. It’s time for me to upgrade to four doors for my growing family, but my loss is your gain. Don’t let this quick little car pass you by.
The leather seats and ice cold a/c will keep you cool next summer. Or open up the power sunroof and enjoy some of the cool weather this winter.
Lovingly maintained by local mechanic. Detailed maintenance records going back to 2011.
The transmission was completely replaced by Mini of Tempe at 65,000. A retread from a blown tire lying in the road managed to crimp the oil line running to the transmission, but nothing else was damaged.
Engine vibration damper, both window regulators, and front speakers recently replaced.
Extras:
Reinforced front strut towers
Front anti-sway bar
Rear anti-sway bar
2” lift, just enough to keep the bumpers above parking lot curb stones
Grom Bluetooth integrated with steering wheel music controls
Rear seats removed and replaced with a full-sized spare tire. Still have the rear seat, which will convey with vehicle and can be easily reinstalled.
