1982 Ovation 1612 Custom Balladeer acoustic/electric guitar. Includes original USA-made Ovation hardshell case in mint condition. Made in 1982 in New Hartford Connecticut. Solid Sitka Spruce with Sunburst Finish & Classic Floral Rosette, with traditional deep-bowl Lyrachord (composite roundback), mahogany/maple multi-ply neck with ebony fretboard and walnut bridge, and FET preamp with single volume control and under-saddle piezo pickup.

Has the typical Ovation's signature hairline crack on top of the body. It has been there for many years and hasn't changed, and does not affect the playability of the guitar in any way. If you are unfamiliar with why this is so common on Ovation guitars, it is because how the spruce top interacts with the synthetic Lyrachord bowl.

Looks and plays absolutely beautifully. This model goes for $500 to $1,500 online with the cheapest being at Guitar Center for $525 plus tax without the case. I'm selling the guitar and the original case for $415. Possibly open to trade ideas.
