Original Tucson truck with 45,000 miles. I do not believe the odometer has rolled over. It sat for a while on the west side before I bought it in late 2021. It still had bias ply tires on the original narrow rims. I found a note in the manual from the original owner (see pics).
This is a mostly original 1960 C10 that I fixed up to use around town. It's pretty straight with a small rust spot on passenger side front fender/door. Cab corners and lower dorrs are good. Tailgate has been patched (bondo?) and the rear bumper got pushed in a bit. I've just been running it all as-is. The only minor rust I encountered when I had everything tore apart was on the front cab pinch weld below the vent windows. I treated these areas with POR-15 when I replaced the cab weatherstripping.
I tore it all down, cleaned and refurbished what was still good, replaced what wasn't, and put it all back together. Small parts mostly from ClassicParts, Classic Heartbeat, and local shops. No LMC parts. There are still some areas underneath with buildup (and spiders) but no rust other than what I mentioned above.
235 straight 6 with 3 on the tree manual column shift
Long bed, fleetside, small back window
Still running original distributor, single barrel carburetor
Frantz TP oil filter upgrade
Towed to my house 10/2021
Note from original owner purchased at O’Rielly Motors 11/12/1959 for $2336!
Mileage when sold in Jan 1974 was 42,262
Mileage today just under 45,000
