Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented person to help sell a large collection of household items, furniture, electronics, collectibles, and miscellaneous goods through Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp. Looking for someone who is dependable, works independently, and has an eye for presenting items in a way that helps them sell quickly. This is a flexible part-time project with the potential for ongoing work if it's a good fit.
Responsibilities include:
- Sorting and organizing items
- Cleaning items for photos when needed
- Taking high-quality photos
- Creating Marketplace and OfferUp listings
- Writing clear titles and descriptions
- Researching reasonable asking prices
- Responding to buyer inquiries
- Scheduling pickup appointments
- Tracking listings and sales in a spreadsheet
Requirements:
- Experience using Facebook Marketplace and/or OfferUp
- Comfortable using a smartphone and computer
- Good written communication skills
- Honest, dependable, and organized
- Able to lift and move household items when necessary
- Must have reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Experience selling online
- Knowledge of antiques, electronics, tools, collectibles, or furniture is a plus
- Photography experience is helpful but not required
