Before DVDs grew in popularity, he would spend countless hours checking movies out from Eddie Brandt's Saturday Matinee" video store in North Hollywood, other video shops, libraries etc. and copy them to these NEW Scotch EG / T 120 VHS video cassettes and other brands (a few are T 160s)...
After taping them, my friend would meticulously write down the titles on the peel off sticker inserts that came with the tapes or strips of paper and place inside (See scan)...
His interests included ALL genres of movies from the 1940s - 2000s (comedy, action, thrillers, sci-fi, film noir, war, westerns, dramas, spy, cult, indie, horror, gangster, British, etc.) as well as tv shows... LOTS of the movies he taped are now "out of print" and not available on DVD...
He usually put at least two movies on a tape and added some tv shows or music clips if he had available space left...
All tapes come in their original box covers and are recorded on good quality tape. The majority are in excellent condition....
