Company Overview:
At Smart Build, we’re more than just renovators — we’re redefining excellence in multifamily and commercial renovations. Founded over 20 years ago in Boston, we have grown into one of the region’s most respected renovation service providers, expanding across the East Coast and into Atlanta, Dallas, and most recently, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
What began as a small coatings company (Smart Coats) has evolved into a full-service renovation partner delivering everything from detailed take-offs and precise carpentry to large-scale capital projects. We’ve completed thousands of unit renovations and projects across apartment complexes, condominium associations, hospitality groups, retail spaces, office buildings, and assisted living facilities — all with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and unmatched client satisfaction.
What sets us apart isn’t just what we do, but how we do it:
A growth-minded team that values ownership, continuous improvement, and accountability
Lean operations that enable us to move quickly without unnecessary bureaucracy
A customer-first mindset that drives consistent repeat business and long-term partnerships
National reach with strong local roots, allowing us to scale while maintaining a personal touch
We’re in an exciting phase of expansion, and we’re building a team ready to grow with us. If you’re someone who wants to make an impact, be trusted to deliver great work, and build a long-term career — not just clock in — we’d love to talk.
