2012 Ford Explorer
Runs and drives but the electronic power steering rack just went bad. Had the repair assessed by a mobile mechanic and got a quote, but it’s more than I want to spend, a mechanic with a lift could do it.
The good: new rear brakes and rotors
Tires at 7/32 all four.
Two extra spare tires in fair shape, 6/32 on both.
The engine runs fine. We think we are the second owners and it’s run very well and long for us. Lots of regular oil changes performed.

Battery needs charging at the moment as it’s sat since summer.
Steering is stuck/frozen in a slight turn to the right.
The electric steering froze in our driveway after driving on the highway we noticed the steering was sticking a bit but still working. Froze right in our driveway after turning the vehicle off, next start the steering was stuck.

Front curb trim on left is a bit thrashed, the low trim.
Car needs to get to a lift to be worked on.
Buyer will need to tow it or haul it hence the price.
A trailer may be difficult to haul it into with the wheels turned some. Maybe a tow dolly is better as the climb is shorter… unless you have wheel dolly’s going up the ramp of a flat bed or a tow truck that can get under the front wheels.
