Dependable, compassionate caregiver wanted for a quadriplegic adult — Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays, 12-hour shifts.
I am looking for someone reliable, patient, respectful, and caring to provide hands-on assistance in a comfortable home environment.
The individual is paralyzed from the neck down and needs assistance with daily activities and personal care. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing quality care and wants to build a positive, trusting working relationship.
What we're looking for:
• Monday, Tuesday & Friday availability
• 12-hour shifts
• Caregiving experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right person
• Experience with a Hoyer lift
• Comfortable learning and assisting with transfers
• Meal preparation
• General assistance with daily living and personal care
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive
• Must be a non-smoker
• Must genuinely like and be comfortable around pets
• Must speak English
• Reliable, patient, attentive, and respectful
• Must be open to registering with IHSS
No professional caregiving experience? That's okay. If you are dependable, compassionate, willing to learn, and have the right attitude, we are happy to train the right person. Experience is a plus, but finding someone trustworthy and genuinely caring is most important.
