The Table is made from old forest Mahogany.
The top is one solid piece of wood that measure 20" by 55" long.
Each leaf measures 23"wide by 55" long.
One of the leaves is a single piece of wood the other has one glue joint.
This table is only 22" wide in the fold down position.
Would be a great looking piece when refinished.
Also would be a great buy for a wood worker looking for mahogany.
The actual planned and finished tabletop and leaves are 15/16" thick.
The other solid mahogany table top is 24" x 47" with 24" wide leaves.
This table is 3/4" thick with conventional glue joints.
The problem is the manufacturer secure the skirt to the top not allowing for wood contraction.
Thus there are a few glue joints that have partially separated.
