We are looking for a skilled video editor with real narrative editing experience to cut short cinematic scenes, typically 2–5 minutes in length.
This is not basic social media editing. We need someone who understands scene work, pacing, performance, emotional beats, dialogue, continuity, and how to shape a scene so it feels like a real film or television moment.
**Ideal candidate should have experience with:**
Narrative film or television-style editing
Dialogue scenes
Performance-based editing
Short films, reels, or scripted content
Sound cleanup/basic audio polish
Color workflow or working with colored footage
Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
**Requirements:**
Must submit a resume or brief work history
Must submit links to past narrative work
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take notes
Must understand cinematic pacing, not just quick-cut social media style
Los Angeles preferred, but remote is possible for the right person
