These ones are the middle of the Centaur line. Not the Centaur Minors or the Majors, these are just the Centaurs. They are a hybrid ribbon speaker with a 26 inch mid/tweeter ribbon and an 8 inch woofer. They aren’t as difficult to drive as other Apogee speakers but they are 84db sensitive. Apogee suggests a 100 watt power amplifier to drive these.
One of the speakers fabric covering the ribbon has some tears in the back (see pictures). No other issues on these and they are cosmetically very nice. I believe they are all original.
Come give these a listen before you buy. These are really hard to let go as they sound fantastic.
