Looking for a long-term roommate/live-in companion in Springfield, MA.
I have Section 8 and my current landlord is okay with me having someone live with me as long as everything is approved through housing.
My doctors have already helped me get the process started for a live-in aide, but I still need to find the right person.
I'm not looking for someone to bathe me, dress me or anything like that. I'm pretty independent. It's more about having someone around, helping with rides, taking me shopping, running errands, going places together and just having some companionship.
I'm gay, so obviously you'd have to be comfortable with that. I'm really hoping to find someone I click with, someone I can laugh with, hang out with and actually build a friendship with. I don't want it to feel like someone is just there doing a job.
You'd still have your own life and privacy. I'm not expecting someone to be around me 24/7.
Once everything is approved, I can have you added through Section 8 as my live-in aide. I'm looking for something long-term, not someone who's going to move in and leave a month later.
I'm pretty easygoing, and I just want someone who's genuine, dependable and easy to get along with.
