I’m looking for a few reliable women to join my caregiving team!
I’m a quadriplegic and pretty easygoing. I tell it like it is, and you don’t have to worry about offending me. I appreciate someone with a good sense of humor who can laugh with me and just be themselves.
I’m looking for someone who is very dependable, easy to get along with, and willing to help me do the things I need (and want!) to do.
Mornings: Transfers, bowel program, showering, dressing, fixing my hair, and preparing breakfast and lunch.
Afternoons: Helping with dinner, shopping, errands, housekeeping, and laundry.
Evenings: Helping me get ready for bed and transferring me into bed.
Pay:
$15.50/hour, paid weekly by direct deposit
$12 cash bonus for each morning shift
$2 cash bonus for each bedtime shift
Additional bonuses for being reliable and on time!
Requirements:
Female caregiver, at least 18 years old
Reliable transportation
Physically able to safely assist with transfers and personal care
Able to come to work in all types of weather
Able to pass a background check or have an approved Good Cause Waiver
Registered with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry (if you’ve worked in healthcare, schools, daycare, nursing homes, or home health, you may already be registered!)
The biggest thing I need is someone who shows up. I depend on my caregivers to get me in and out of bed, access food and medication, and go about my day. Missing a shift isn’t just inconvenient for me. It can affect my health and safety. I need people who take that seriously.
But I also want someone who enjoys being here! I like to have fun, be included, and live my life.
