This vintage trunk is a piece of history from Arthur D. Ellis, a textile manufacturer from the 20th Century. Ellis operated out of Monson, MA and in the early 1900s manufactured the upholstery for the interior of Rolls Royce automobiles. The company ceased operations in 1962. This trunk belonged to our great grandfather who was employed by Ellis. It does require restoration, especially the bottom of the trunk.
