This tool is the gold standard-don't waste your money on cheap box store tools that deliver crappy flares that leak.
I bought this for $70 for one home job and no longer need it. Only been used 4 times!
Produces perfect SAE 45° flares on copper, brass ,aluminum and other soft steel tubings. Use for air conditioners, heaters, refrigeration and other tubing fabrication.
The Clutch mechanism on the turn handle releases automatically to prevent over tightening. Once it releases, just turn the handle backwards to back out. Off-set Yoke set in ball bearings reduces friction and force needed to achieve the perfect flairs and spreads metal like a rolling pin spreads dough.
