The thermometer is fake with a dial in the back to set it at whatever temperature you want to display.
The clock requires a AA battery, although we can hear it tick, the hands do not advance, possibly rust on the washers, no real time to troubleshoot.
12" diameter.
No chips or cracks.
Has been hanging on a three season enclosed porch.
