Description:
The Invictus was one of the most powerful warships ever built by the Empire. Measuring an extraordinary eight kilometers across and operated by a crew of 300,000, it was equipped with a jump drive and heavily armed.
After its jump drive malfunctioned, the Invictus spent more than a thousand years jumping uncontrollably from place to place. It was eventually discovered by the Anacreons, who forced a Foundation team—including Salvor Hardin and Hugo Crast—to salvage it.
The Foundation later took control of the Invictus and reverse-engineered much of its technology to create its whisper ships. The legendary warship was ultimately destroyed above Terminus during Cleon XVII’s attack on the Foundation.
