These Definitive Technologies Mythos STS Tower Loudspeakers served me very well for over a decade. Both of the original speakers I purchased in 2009 were replaced by the manufacturer when a repair was needed instead of servicing. Definitive Tech was generous about sending a new replacement speaker in the early to mid 2010s. Originally purchased from Sunny Audio Video in Covina, CA., the speakers feature aircraft-grade aluminum gloss black cabinets (without any blemishes) with granite base, built-in 300 watt powered subwoofer, 1-inch pure aluminum dome tweeter, and D'Appolito array consisting of two high-definition 4-1/2 inch midrange drivers housed in an acoustically isolated sealed enclosure. The powered woofer section makes them capable of prodigious bass response and their high efficiency rating makes them easy to drive with modest power. I currently have them connected in a bedroom to a NAD Integrated Amplifier rated a 50 watts per channel and they will play louder than someone might ever want.

The original list price was $3000 a pair, so given the hours of use I'm offering the pair for $300. I have original boxes and manual.

Local cash sale preferred with pick-up by customers. These speakers weigh over 50 lbs each, so shipping cost could be prohibitive.
