I have a nice mare looking for a slower home with a lighter rider. Selling as grade - however aging around 16-18 and just over 15.2 hh. She's an excellent trail horse. She goes through water, over bridges, loads great, farrier **favorite**. Ties wonderfully. Goes well in a traditional full set. Body worker thinks she gets sore in the hips after long rides - we ride 20 +/- and I think she would prefer 5 to 10 mile days instead. Maybe she'd be fine with longer rides with an injection of some kind. I'm maxed out with vet bills for other horses to pursue why she gets sore. She is not lame. She has been used in my lesson program and while she is great for beginners - she just doesn't tolerate nonsense and might trot off with a rude kid giving mixed signals. I think she prefers a confident leader and appreciates clarity. She's stunning and lovely but I took on too much and she's just sitting in the field. Turned out with geldings and mares in a large field. Easy to catch. She is a decently easy keeper but flies LOVE her for some reason and it's absolutely something to fight with during summer. She can be ridden in a snaffle, side pull or hack. I have many many pictures of her on the trail and in the arena. She prefers the trails and is not an arena horse. PPE at buyers expense welcome. Multiple test rides ok. She needs the CORRECT home. Text preferred.
