Engine and Tender black die-cast steam locomotive a Pacific 4-6-2 type wheel configuration accompanied by a matching "Western Pacific" coal tender.
The Passenger Cars are tinplate lithographed streamlined passenger cars stamped with "American Flyer Lines". They feature the iconic yellow/orange body with red accents, styled after the sleek Art Deco Hiawatha / Union Pacific streamliners from that era. The set consists of two main passenger coaches and one unique "beavertail" or tapered observation car for the back of the train.
