I’m looking for a reliable, personable individual interested in part-time work helping with residential construction and service work in customers’ homes.
You won’t be performing any specialized trade work. There may be periods where you’ll simply be waiting while the work is being completed, followed by helping with cleanup and packing up.
This could be a great fit for someone looking for a few hours of work during the day without needing any previous experience or specialized skills. I’m looking for someone with a good attitude who doesn’t mind physical work and is happy to lend a hand when needed.
Typical hours: Approximately 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, depending on the day’s work.
Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment.
* Setting up tools and parts at job sites.
* Carrying equipment, tool bags, and materials.
* Helping keep the work area organized.
* Cleaning up and loading the vehicle once the job is complete.
* Potentially helping with other odd jobs during slower periods, if interested.
Pay and transportation
* Wage is negotiable.
* Must be able to start the work day in Sechelt but you would travel between jobs in my work vehicle. If you lived nearby I could pick you up.
This is a flexible, hands-on opportunity with a small local business. I’m looking for someone dependable who enjoys working with their hands, and is easy to get along with.
