My partner and I along with our indoor/outdoor cat, are looking for a single family 2 bedroom with a full bathroom.
We are seeking a living arrangement where there's an option to provide care-taking in exchange to trade off some of the monthly rent. For the last 10 years I have taken care of a property as Property Manager, and the property we currently live on, I provide a care-taking service to care for the animals, water gardens, and basic home care duties while the owner travels for work.
Here’s a clear summary of what we want in a living space:
* An outdoor space for our cat to explore without having to go into neighbors yard
* A down to earth space in good order. No dampness or mold, and well insulated with an efficient heat source.
* If power goes out during stormy weather, a backup heat source and power source/supply available
*We are extremely handy and conscious of how we care for our living space.
Here are some details of what we are looking for in a rental:
•2 Bedroom with Full Bath
bathtub/shower, and toilet combo
•Storage space; 8’ X 10’
•Laundry on the property; hookups
•Kitchen w/ significant storage, countertop space, propane stove
•Garden
•Privacy
•Square footage does not have to be huge as we are accustomed to tiny house living. 600-800 sq ft is preferred
•1st Month + Deposit for move in
We are beginning our search now, with the intention for a move-in date between November 15th-December 1st of 2026.
We want a rental that’s available for 2-5 Years.
Location, between Sebastopol and Petaluma, we love nature, and country living.
Price range: $1800-2000 (trade $300/month)
