SUBJECT: Eclipse cd7200mkII + factory service manual + HDR-109
ITEM BRAND & MODEL #: Eclipse cd7200mkII + factory service manual + HDR-109
CONDITION: 6/10 was in my daily driver, shows signs of use, I have repaired this unit, and CD eject is fussy (read details below). The HDR-109 is in excellent condition, and the factory service manual is essentially new.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is a collector's item and is being sold as-is.
The factory service manual is included (a legitimate paper hardcopy!) so you have every chance of keeping it in good working condition.
History of this radio is a bit complex but you will want to know what you are buying:
-I am the original owner and the sales receipt is included.
-pulled from my VW Golf and was my daily driver radio for many years
-one of the RCA cables was damaged at one point, and I cannot remember if I repaired it or not. I think it was one of the "rear" outputs. I know for sure the "front" outputs and the aux inputs worked great when I pulled it from my car.
-one of the transistors inside the radio failed and I replaced it with something larger with a better heatsink
-the original display had a few stuck pixels so I replaced the vacuum display
-the entire details of the two above repairs can be found here:

-from what I remember, the CD player works great and the eject works well, but the faceplate would get stuck in the open position. This is very likely related to one of the three limit switches that detect the position of the faceplate. I troubleshoot that far but did not repair it. I suggest not pressing the eject button unless you want to try and fix it. There is a workaround for retracting the faceplate if it gets stuck in the open position.
Condition:

-see video below demonstrating it works
-please read above and check the photos
-the anti-theft mechanism is not activated
-ask if you have questions
For clarity I will say this again: it is a collector's item and sold as-is. I hope this will go to someone with some electronics skill so you can use the service manual to keep it running as long as possible.
