Portside Bakery is seeking an experienced full-time baker to join our tight-knit production
team. We craft naturally leavened breads and laminated pastries that have built a loyal
following across Marin and San Francisco.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in craft, consistency, and working
efficiently in a small, high-performing kitchen.
What You’ll Do
- Mix and scale doughs with precision
- Shape high-hydration artisan breads
- Laminate and finish pastries
- Manage deck oven bakes
- Maintain an organized, clean production space
- Work collaboratively with a small, committed team
What We’re Looking For
- Professional bakery experience required
- Experience with high-hydration doughs and/or laminated pastry preferred
- Comfortable working with a deck oven
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Positive attitude and solid communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$28/hour DOE
