ABOUT ME
I have experience working with students from different ages, backgrounds, and English levels, including international students and learners preparing for academic exams.
My teaching background includes English education in Japan, private tutoring, TOEFL preparation, academic writing, ESL instruction, and working with students who use English as an additional language.
I focus on practical, individualized instruction rather than using a one-size-fits-all curriculum. We can identify your biggest weaknesses, create a plan around your goals, and work through real questions, writing samples, speaking practice, or academic materials together.
I currently teach online while living in Japan, so I regularly work with students across different time zones.
LESSON FORMAT
• 1-on-1 online lessons
• Zoom or another mutually convenient platform
• Lessons tailored to your level and goals
• Flexible scheduling
• Available for both ongoing tutoring and short-term exam preparation
RATE
$45 USD / 60-minute lesson
This rate is for individualized instruction and includes lesson preparation/material selection when needed.
I am also happy to discuss a package or recurring weekly schedule for students who want consistent preparation.
AVAILABILITY
I am currently based in Japan (JST / UTC+9) and teach online.
My availability is generally flexible, including weekday and weekend times. Because I work with students internationally, I can often accommodate students in North American, European, and Asian time zones.
Please message me with:
1. What you would like help with (SAT, TOEFL, writing, ESL, etc.)
