We are a mid-level general construction company located in Sarasota, FL looking for a commercial & residential superintendents. We are looking for an energetic individual to join our staff as an on-site superintendent. Must have an open-mind and be willing to learn, but most importantly, be self-motivated and committed to getting projects completed on time. Local candidates only. Construction experience preferred.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Coordinate and schedule daily job site activities
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections and deliveries
• Daily interaction with project manager to confirm scope of work, orders, schedules etc..
Must have the following for consideration of this position:
• Driver's license and dependable transportation
• Basic tools and the ability to use them
• Knowledge of construction and Florida building codes helpful
• Strong organizational and managerial skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/building plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School graduate.
