Easy siding job for one person on a weekend 22ft wall roughly. Need to remove existing siding (wood boards running horizontally) beef up the framing a little bit, and then add sheathing (plywood) plus home wrap plus rain screen plus flashing as the wood is touching the concrete in some parts we need something creative. We may have to demo some concrete that is settled up and now running towards the house-- just some renovation stuff that isn't just slap some t-111 on it.
Looking for someone that is good with flashing, knows how water works and flashing / rain screen (i have the roll of stuff which is like house wrap with little bumps so water can run between the siding and the house wrap if it gets in.
In santa rosa. Prob 2 days of work to do 8 sheets of plywood, two windows, then 8 sheets of siding (maybe 3 days) I can help as well. have nail guns etc and most tools needed but no table saw. You must have construction experience and siding experience. Just want whatever siding will be most watertight (priming all end cuts too) and done in that way. Don't mind doing vertical sheets of 4x8 siding as it is around 7ft 6 " tall.
I do want the shear to be added in a manner that will add a lot of strength to the wall. there isn't much overhang so it really does need to have the best weatherproofing it can and flashing.
