PING “Anser” Golf Putter - Chrome Plated - $25 (santa rosa)
QR Code Link to This Post
Right-handed PING “Anser” heel-toe balanced blade putter made of manganese bronze that has been chrome plated except for the face and the top line, which appears to have been painted with flat black. There is a 3/16” ball alignment mark. The steel shaft has no band, but is believed to be the original shaft. It has a Golf Pride Traction Action “Pro Only” putter grip. Length is 34⅝ inches.
The “Anser” putter features a head with a plumber’s style neck, which keeps the hands ahead of the clubhead through impact giving a more forgiving stroke. The heel/toe weighting helps to minimize club head twisting on off-center putts. This classically designed putter also has a low center of gravity to reduce skidding and create a quick, smooth roll resulting in improved speed and distance control.
The grip has cracks. It will play, but may need replacement. The putter has been chrome plated. It’s reasonable to believe you’ll be the only player on the course with such a putter. Pricing has taken into consideration these two factors.
