Mu wife used this air filter intermittently for a couple of years in her small office. Intermittent means no more than 10 hours a week and not every week. It has never been used around pets, cooking smells or tobacco. I think it's good as new. It's designed for a single room at a max of 280 ft.². The device is 16" high and 9.25" in diameter, and has 4 speeds. It definitely pushes air.
$50 OBO.
