- Read and interpret construction plans and execute work accurately.
- Work independently and keep projects moving when the owner is off-site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Identify material needs and provide clear lists for purchasing.
- Communicate regularly with the owner regarding progress, upcoming work, and any issues requiring attention.
- Create punch lists, track remaining work, and help prepare projects for inspections.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of residential construction or carpentry experience.
- Strong experience with foundation forming, framing, layout, and reading construction plans.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and professional jobsite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Own basic hand tools and standard power tools.
- Ability to travel to jobsites throughout Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with finish carpentry, cabinetry, trim, doors, and detailed interior work.
- Experience helping lead projects or other carpenters.
- Background in custom residential homes, ADUs, or home additions.
