It can glitch. It can stutter. It can downgrade your sample rate and flummox your bit depth. It is modeled to emulate all the glorious classic 8-bit video game consoles. But the filter is brilliant in its own right and the fact that it can all be sequenced and synced to tempo just carries this device into a whole new realm. Plug it in, tweak a knob or two a bit, and enter some new world of exploration and magic.
I used it mostly as an output effect for my synthesizers in combination with a reverb pedal. The stereo signal path preserves all the width. The gentle distortion of sample rate reduction passed through the warming filter can bring a ton of life to an analog synth tone.
Great condition. Never used on stage or on tour. Designed in Ventura by the best pedal makers in the game.
