What We're Looking For:
Reliability and consistent attendance are essential to this position.
This is a dedicated daily route with limited backup coverage. When the assigned driver is unavailable, arranging coverage is particularly challenging and can significantly disrupt operations. For that reason, we need a driver who understands the importance of dependable attendance, punctuality, and honoring their scheduled work commitments.
We recognize that planned time off and unexpected circumstances are part of life. What matters is having a professional who takes their responsibilities seriously, communicates proactively, and can be counted on to consistently fulfill the demands of this position.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on the assigned route
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure freight is properly secured
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, equipment concerns, or operational issues
• Maintain accurate records of working hours
• Keep assigned equipment clean and report maintenance needs
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and efficiency
Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Ability to pass required pre-employment drug screening and Clearinghouse
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
