We are looking for a Sign Walker Supervisor. There are two signs that will be held at each store location. The SUPERVISOR HOLDS ONE SIGN and so does the walker the Supervisor hires. The supervisor’s main responsibility is keeping the location staffed with another sign walker who gets paid $80 per day. We suggest that you have someone come with you that is loyal to you. Significant other, roommate, family member, neighbor, acquaintance from another job, etc. If none of the aforementioned is an option we can post a Craiglist ad for you. You will need to hire and rehire if any person you hire quits or no shows. You will also need to have backups on call to make your job easier. The Supervisor is also responsible for building the sign, maintaining the sign so it looks good, and adding decals to reflect the proper discount percentage of that particular week. So to be clear and somewhat repetitive, in a nutshell it is the Supervisors job to build the signs, make sure that the event is fully staffed, all hours filled, and backups on standby in the event of no shows. NO EXCEPTIONS!
The job starts Veterans Day on Wednesday and goes through Sunday. After the first week the job and will be going every Fri-Sun for 6-8 weeks, with the possibility of added federal holidays and weekdays.
We are looking for a candidates that are available for all days listed. You will need to show up a few days in advance to build the sign. If you do well there will be work in the future.
Wed - Sun 10:45 - 4 or 11:45 - 5
After the first week it will be Friday - Sunday. Times are subject to change but will only be during daylight hours.
Required of Sign Walker Supervisor
* Good Communication Skills
* A working cellphone with data
* Your own car, proof of drivers license, clean driving record (No DUIs) and insurance, ability to get to and from work in a timely fashion
* A clean professional appearance and great attitude
* To have crews stand in the rain and snow if needed
