The table, fully extended with the included leaf, measures 72" x 48" -- without the leaf, it is a lovely round table 48" in diameter with a radiating pattern.
The single leaf has the side edging included, so when it is installed the side edge is continuous. The leaf would benefit from re-finishing, but -- we only used it when we needed more space for a dinner party, and then we used a tablecloth so the leaf didn't show!
The claw feet show a lighter color where part of the finish has been rubbed off. The mechanism for opening and closing is very well done, with a wheel and track (see picture.)
