I am looking for a German language practice partner with whom to have in-person conversations in Santa Fe. I can read German at the B2 level, and I can listen to it at that level, but I have little speaking and writing experience.
If you are someone who is interested in speaking German with someone, I would like to start a meetup. We could meet weekly for an hour or to an hour and a half, at most. I'm currently a full-time college student. Meeting at a local coffee shop would likely be best.
It doesn't really matter what level of speaking skill you have as long as you simply want to practice German. But you must already have reading ability at, perhaps, the lower A2 level. You need to also have a basic grasp of the common grammar rules, though perfect knowledge of cases in using adjectives and such isn't expected. A simple beginner's book can give you these things. I suggest Dover's 'German How to Speak and Write It' or a similar, well-written introduction to the language.
