Fire prevention has become a necessity. However rain has mitigated this problem for the moment. You still need to clear the area around your house at least 10 feet from your walls. Also all your trees and scrubs should be cleared at least 2 feet from the ground. Clean the yard of weeds and remove all flammable items.
