Velázquez Press, an educational publishing company, is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and reliable person to help staff our exhibit booth at the La Cosecha Dual Language Conference in Santa Fe, NM. We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, is comfortable starting conversations, and can help us connect with educators attending the conference.
Responsibilities
Greet conference attendees and welcome them to our booth.
Hand out flyers and promotional materials.
Engage visitors in friendly conversations about our educational resources.
Help attendees sign up to receive free samples and additional information.
Collect contact information from interested visitors using a tablet or computer.
Assist with general booth activities as needed.
Schedule & Compensation
Days: Thursday Nov 12th and Friday Nov 13th 2026
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM each day
Lunch: 30-minute uninterrupted break (lunch provided)
Pay: $150 per day ($18.75 per paid hour)
Total Compensation: $300 for both days
Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing, and professional.
Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people.
Reliable, punctual, and organized.
Basic computer or tablet skills.
Good communication skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
No previous conference experience necessary.
