We need someone who takes exceptional pride in their work, values cleanliness and organization, and understands the importance of properly handling and protecting customers' personal belongings.
This is a hands-on warehouse position. We are looking for a self-motivated professional who takes initiative and doesn't need constant supervision to get the job done.
📦 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
HOUSEHOLD GOODS STORAGE & INVENTORY
-Properly load, unload, vault, and unvault customers' household goods.
-Maintain accurate inventories and clearly identified storage vault locations.
-Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments.
-Verify shipment inventories and report any discrepancies.
-Coordinate and prepare customer warehouse access requests.
-Properly pad, protect, stack, and secure customers' belongings.
-Maintain organized storage areas and accurate shipment records.
🧹 WAREHOUSE CLEANLINESS & ORGANIZATION
-Cleanliness and organization are MAJOR priorities for this position.
-Perform thorough DAILY warehouse sweeping using proper dust-control methods.
-Proactively prevent dust accumulation throughout the warehouse.
-Maintain clean aisles, loading docks, workstations, and storage areas.
-Routinely clean corners, warehouse edges, and other areas where dust and debris accumulate.
-Ensure storage vaults and customers' belongings remain protected from dust and debris.
-Properly organize moving equipment, supplies, and warehouse materials.
-Maintain clearly designated storage locations for equipment and inventory.
-Immediately address clutter, debris, and disorganized areas.
-Take personal responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional warehouse environment.
🚜 FORKLIFT OPERATIONS
-Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and position household goods storage vaults.
-Load and unload trucks and storage shipments.
-Perform required forklift safety inspections.
-Follow established warehouse safety procedures.
-Maintain equipment in proper working condition and report maintenance concerns.
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
FORKLIFT CERTIFICATION/TRAINING REQUIRED – NO EXCEPTIONS.
PROVEN FORKLIFT OPERATING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Previous warehouse experience required.
Household goods moving and storage experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain accurate inventories and storage records.
Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
Ability to work independently and remain productive without constant supervision.
Willingness to perform daily sweeping, cleaning, and general warehouse maintenance.
Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position.
Forklift qualifications will be verified. Employer-specific forklift evaluation and authorization will be required.
