Hello Parents and Students,
I am offering to tutor Basic Math for grades 4-10. I will be using the IXL program on the computer. We can work on Zoom or in person. I have had good success with students who want to sharpen their skills and possibly fill in some gaps in their math knowledge. The program has like 100 skills per grade level. We would work on areas of weakness and not do them all. Each skill gives the student 10 problems to work out. The program gives immediate feedback when a problem is missed. I can also show your student how to do the problems if they don't understand. Our work should solidify your student's foundation irregardless of grade level.
I also tutor High School math but this ad is just for Basic Math review. I will charge $15/hour for Zoom lessons and $20/hour in person.
I have tutored privately for 20 years and done Zoom for 5 years.
