Already going to the gym but still unsure which exercises to do, how to increase your weights, or how to create a routine that delivers real results? You’re not alone. Many people put in hours of effort but struggle to make consistent progress because they lack a clear training structure. If you want to stop guessing and start training with a purpose, I can help you build a plan that works for your goals, schedule, and lifestyle.
My name is Roud, and I’m a Level 4 Personal Trainer with GoodLife Fitness in North York, near Yonge and Finch. I help individuals develop practical, structured training routines focused on building muscle, improving strength, refining movement, and establishing consistent exercise habits. Whether you’re relatively new to lifting or have already spent time in the gym without seeing the progress you expected, my coaching is designed to give your workouts direction.
My professional background includes strength training, movement assessment, exercise therapy, barbell rehabilitation, nutrition coaching, and boxing fundamentals. This combination allows me to take a broader approach to fitness, considering not only the exercises you perform but also your movement quality, training experience, recovery, and overall objectives.
I train seriously myself, so I understand the commitment that goes into getting stronger and improving performance. I also recognize that training has to fit into real life. Work responsibilities, busy schedules, sleep, recovery, and other commitments can all affect your ability to stay consistent. A good program should account for these factors rather than demand a perfect routine every week.
Personalized Coaching With a Clear Plan
My coaching focuses on helping you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Instead of jumping between random workouts, you’ll have a structured approach built around your priorities. We can work on exercise selection, proper technique, training volume, rest periods, and progressive overload so you have a clearer path toward measurable improvement.
As your training develops, your program can be adjusted to reflect your progress, changing goals, and available time. The objective is to make your workouts more productive while helping you build the knowledge and confidence to train independently over time.
Whether your main goal is building muscle, increasing your lifts, improving movement quality, developing better conditioning, or creating a more consistent gym routine, we can identify the areas that deserve the most attention. Nutrition and recovery can also be considered as part of your overall strategy, helping you understand how your habits outside the gym support your training.
Who Can Benefit From My Coaching?
My approach is suitable for people who want more direction in their workouts, lifters who feel stuck at the same weights, and individuals who want to develop a better understanding of strength training. You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting started. The important thing is having a goal and being willing to work toward it consistently.
If you’re ready to train smarter, build strength, and make better use of your time in the gym, let’s discuss your goals.
Send me a message with your main fitness goal, your current training experience, and how many days per week you can realistically commit to training. We can start by understanding where you are now and identifying a practical approach to help you move forward.
