A growing high end design & build (residential/light commercial) construction company in San Rafael, CA is currently seeking a full-time positions for the follow positions:
1) Apprentice Painter
The requirements for the position are as follows:
1) Positive attitude and willingness to learn
2) Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
3) Valid driver license and insurance. Clean background and clean DMV record.
4) English speaking. Enjoy working with people and be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and other tradesmen.
5) Motivated, hardworking, trustworthy, has attention to detail, punctual, professional.
6) Career path orientated, long term team member.
7) Understand and follow all safety guidelines.
8) Comfortable with ladders, heights, and physical work.
9) Basic knowledge of had tools is helpful but not required.
What you will learn to do:
• Assist painters with prepping homes for interior and exterior painting
• Sanding, masking, caulking, patching, and basic surface repairs
• Learn proper brush, roller, and spray techniques
• Maintain clean, organized job sites
• Support the crew with setup, cleanup, and daily tasks
• Follow safety practices and job-site procedures
