Custom Home Builder is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-end residential remodeling and construction projects in San Mateo and throughout the Bay Area. The right candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field crews from preconstruction through project completion.
Job responsibilities
Manage project schedules, budgets, and day-to-day construction activities
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, architects, and engineers
Communicate project updates and address questions with clients
Review plans, scopes, estimates, and change orders
Track costs, progress, materials, and potential schedule issues
Conduct regular jobsite walks to monitor workmanship, safety, and progress
Help resolve field conditions and coordinate solutions with the project team
Maintain project records, meeting notes, schedules, and other documentation
Support projects through punch list, closeout, and completion
Qualifications
At least 3 years of project management experience in residential construction; high-end remodeling experience preferred
Strong understanding of construction plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Computer Ease; experience with construction project management software is a plus
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel to project sites in San Mateo and throughout the Bay Area
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience.
