I help people make sense of collections that have gotten too large, inherited, disorganized, or simply never properly documented.
Records, books, photographs, cameras, instruments, art objects, ephemera, matchbooks, paper collections, and other interesting accumulated things.
TOIYABE INDEX can create a clear visual catalog of your collection, including:
• Individual item photography
• Titles, makers, dates and identifying information
• Basic condition notes
• Rough current market research / comparable sales
• Organized digital catalog with photos and item information
• Optional printed or presentation-style catalog for special collections
This can be useful if you’ve inherited a collection, want to understand what you own, need records for family or insurance purposes, are preparing to sell things yourself, or simply want years of accumulated objects fina.
I’m an artist and photographer with a background in fine art, collections, books, records and objects. The approach is careful, straightforward and visually considered — not a warehouse inventory service.
I am not an appraiser, auction house, or reseller.
I don’t take a percentage of your collection and I’m not trying to buy your things. Market information is research only, based on available comparable sales and listings.
Small and large collections considered.
25-item minimum generally preferred.
