We are looking for a dedicated and eager Maintenance Technician to join our granite and quartz fabrication team. You will be the primary tech for our high-precision equipment, including CNC machines, bridge saws, and edge machines. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in machine "up-time" and is ready to grow their technical skills in a specialized industrial environment.
General Duties & Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Set up, execute, and document a rigorous PM schedule to ensure equipment remains in optimal condition.
Inspections: Conduct daily machine inspections, checking for nozzle blockages, lubricant levels, and potential mechanical wear.
Repairs: Read and interpret technical manuals and paperwork to perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repairs as needed.
Facility Support: Maintain vital supporting equipment, including air compressors and water filtration systems.
Housekeeping: Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of equipment areas to prevent stone dust accumulation and ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Dependability: Punctual daily attendance and a reliable work ethic are non-negotiable.
Technical Aptitude: Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn the complexities of stone-cutting CNC software and hardware.
Physical Capability: Must be able to stand for the majority of a shift and frequently lift or move over 50 pounds.
Instruction-Driven: Ability to follow multi-step technical instructions and work effectively under production deadlines.
Education: industrial maintenance is a plus.
