Local, family-owned meat company is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to work as a production worker and delivery driver.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist meat cutters with trimming of meat products in mornings
- Operate and assist with slicing machines and production equipment
- Accurately weigh and neatly package products for inventory
- Assist in organizing products in freezers/coolers
- Assist in checking inbound received orders from vendors
- Ability to set up outbound orders from pick sheets
- Deliver products to customers in timely manner
- Fork lift experience preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Team player with a positive attitude! Looking for enthusiastic personalities to represent the company on deliveries.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic along with a willingness to learn and work in a team environment
- Punctuality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Accurately calculate and record weights using scales
- Show proof of a clean driving record from a DMV report
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent maneuvering in and out of freezers, coolers and processing room
- Two handed lifting, handling, and carrying boxes up to 60 lbs
- Two handed pushing, pulling and lifting of loaded and unloaded carts
- Neat and professional appearance required.
Prospective candidates will go through a pre-employment interview.
Must be available Monday - Friday, 6am - 4pm (start/end hours may vary)
Salary: $22/hr (+ health benefits & 401k option)
