Position: Part-Time Personal & Business Assistant
Location: Home-based work environment in San Leandro, CA
Starting Schedule: 2 days per week (preferably Tuesday and Thursday/Friday), 5 hours per day (10 hours weekly) Starting Pay: $16/hr paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for additional tips and performance-based bonuses as the business continues to grow.
Growth Opportunity: Days, hours, and responsibilities may gradually increase as the business grows.

Kawaii Creations & Co. is a small, growing creative business specializing in cute accessories, thoughtful gifts, unique décor, and carefully selected products featuring beloved characters such as Hello Kitty, Sanrio friends, and Disney favorites.
Our mission goes beyond selling cute products. The business was created as part of a personal healing journey, with the hope of spreading happiness, kindness, and positivity through thoughtful gifts and creations. As the business continues to grow, we hope to give back to the community and support meaningful charitable causes.

💕 Job Responsibilities
Initially, the main responsibilities will include:
- Taking attractive, high-quality product photographs (With a phone).
- Editing product photos to create clean, appealing, professional-looking listings (With a phone).
- Creating and posting product listings, primarily on Facebook Marketplace.
- Writing clear, engaging product descriptions.
- Organizing and keeping track of product information and inventory.
- Responding to customer messages, preparing items and pickup process
- Occasionally assisting with making cute charms and accessories.
- Occasionally simple crafting/paintings, planting, balloon making, gift packaging
Helping with other small business-related tasks as needed.
As you become comfortable with the role, I will gradually provide training for additional responsibilities, including customer communication, creative projects, and other aspects of running the business.

- Responsible and dependable: Takes their responsibilities seriously and follows through on assigned tasks.
- A quick learner: Willing to learn new processes and become more independent over time.
- Organized with good memory: Able to remember instructions or has their own reliable system for taking notes, keeping reminders, and tracking responsibilities.
- Efficient while maintaining quality: Can complete tasks at a reasonable pace without sacrificing accuracy or presentation.
- Proactive and takes ownership: After receiving proper training, can manage assigned responsibilities independently without constantly waiting for instructions.
- Patient and adaptable: Understands that a small business evolves and is comfortable learning new tasks gradually.
- Positive and easy to work with: Appreciates a respectful, supportive, and comfortable working environment.
- Experience with photography, photo editing, online selling, or creative projects is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a good attitude are equally important.
Work Environment & Expectations:
This is a relaxed, low-pressure, home-based work environment where I value kindness, open communication, and mutual respect. Although the atmosphere is comfortable and flexible, quality, efficiency, reliability, and accountability are important to me.
I work full-time while building this business, so I'm especially looking for someone who can gradually take ownership of their duties after training.
I don't expect anyone to know everything immediately, and I'm happy to provide guidance and training. However, I appreciate someone who takes notes, remembers instructions, stays organized, and makes an effort to solve simple problems independently.
The goal is to build a comfortable and positive working relationship where we can trust each other and grow together.
